Hello, fellow earthling!

I am an illustrator and maker of random stuff, living in Canterbury. I am fascinated by textures, and get inspired by ceramics, mosaics, fresco walls, fabrics, and often use a mix of materials — whatever feels right to achieve that sense of rustic, raw, humble, primitive and handcrafted, cosy, imperfect wabi-sabi beauty drifting through the cracks, making you feel grounded and at home. Textures honouring passing time and ancestry; pieces evoking stillness and reflection. I make tender, a bit strange, hand-worn objects and paintings. They are authentic, true to myself, always. Each piece is a small offering, a gesture of gratitude, of reflection and connection. Any day, you will find me drawing, painting, printmaking, sewing, doing claywork, animation, or collaging. Recurring themes in my works are speculative worlds of the past, women, nature, and dreams. I am passionate about creating my own worlds and populating them with fantastical creatures. I am often surprised when I see what I made/drew! It's like stories and characters have their own minds and will, and I am just the tool they use to manifest in our perceived physical reality. I am mostly inspired by books, podcasts, documentaries, science, philosophy, nature(both children named after trees), museum collections, art, children's illustrated books, films, theatre and ancient history. That's about all I can think of now. Feel free to email me any inquiries.

If you like my work, email me for any inquiries. I have paintings for sale or can prepare high-quality prints of any of my works (UK only).  I can do a variety of custom work - from packaging or pattern designs to house portraits in ink and watercolour. I work with oil, acrylic, ink, watercolour, pencils, dry pastels, alcohol ink, stamps, lino, digital drawing, collage, jelly printing, assemblage, sewing, paper mache, and clay!
